ReZoom

Serving Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Olympia, and Tacoma, WA

the ReZoom™ Multifocal Lens is a progressive alternative that can help to reduce or eliminate your dependence on eyeglasses or contact lenses. If you want to enjoy better vision, but you don't qualify or wish to undergo LASIK, the ReZoom Multifocal lens may be your best option.

At Bellevue Lasik and Cornea in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Kent Leavitt routinely assists patients in achieving better, clearer vision using lens replacement surgery with the ReZoom™ Multifocal Lens.

Individuals who may benefit from the ReZoom™ Multifocal Lens experience these vision issues:

  • Reading small print is difficult
  • Seeing objects up-close is challenging
  • Driving at night is avoided more often
  • Your vision prescription has changed frequently
  • You have been told you need bifocals
  • You have been diagnosed with cataracts
  • You have been diagnosed with presbyopia

Wouldn’t you like to once again enjoy activities like reading, watching television, driving at night or pursuing hobbies? ReZoom can make it possible.

The ReZoom™ Procedure

The ReZoom™ procedure for lens replacement is similar to cataract surgery. The procedure begins with special drops used to numb your eyes. Dr. Leavitt makes a very tiny incision along the cornea’s outer edge. Through this incision, Dr. Leavitt inserts a microscopic ultrasound instrument. This instrument painlessly breaks up the eye’s lens into tiny pieces, and a probe on the end of the instrument removes the pieces from your eye.

Once Dr. Leavitt has removed the old lens, a new ReZoom intraocular lens replaces it, inserted into place through the same incision. Both your distance and close-up vision is restored because ReZoom offers Balanced View Optics™ Technology to create multiple focal points that allow for clear vision far and near in a wide variety of lighting conditions.

Although ReZoom can eliminate the need for glasses or contacts for most patients, some patients may still need corrective eyewear for reading or nighttime driving.

Risks from ReZoom are rare. Infection is the most common risk, although less than one percent of lens implant patients experience this side effect and, for those that do, medications can successfully treat it.

Isn’t it time you enjoyed freedom from glasses and contact lenses with ReZoom? Please contact Dr. Kent Leavitt to schedule your private vision consultation in Seattle, Washington at Bellevue Lasik and Cornea.
